Overview

Our client is a small sized, reputable private nursing home near Mitcham, Sutton and Surbiton, they are currently looking for a Head of Care to join their team. Main responsibilities of the Head of Care(RN): Work as a committed member of the Management Team within the Home Actively promote and encourage as much personal independence and choice as possible within the activities of daily living Ensure person centred care is given at all times The ideal candidate will have: RGN or RMN DBS Check and POVA listing Specialist Nursing Practices Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) Guidelines Gold Standard Framework for end of life Care Knowledge of Dementia Strategy and Dementia mapping is desired but not essential The post holder will hold the relevant qualifications; have experience of working within a Dual Registered Care Home and proven knowledge and empathy of caring for the older person.
