Overview
Nu Staff are recruiting a Tax Investigations Manager, based within London, offering an attractive salary and package. We are looking to pay between £30,000 - £65,000pa for the right candidate, with a package including bonus, partnership, season ticket and excellent holiday allowance. The successful candidate will; Have atleast 8 years experience in handling and managing HMRC tax investigations Able to independently manage HMRC investigations and enquiries relating to VAT Income Tax, Corporation Tax, PAYE Have experience of dealing with Code of Practice 8 and Code of Practice 9 investigations (tax fraud investigations) Experience of dealing with appeals in the Tax Tribunal and representing clients Solid/ provable experience of negotiating with HMRC to reduce clients' tax liabilities (ideally) have track record of defending clients in complex investigations Ability to communicate and correspond with HMRC Withhold a ACCA/ ACA/CTA qualified or Ex - HMRC Inspector Have strong written and verbal skills
