Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk (Part Time) Location: Bradford Hours: 24 Hours per week (Flexible however must be able to work Friday) Salary: £14,426 per annum Start date: ASAP Benefits: Pension (3%), 35 days holidays pro rata, free onsite parking Are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience in a Finance team? Are you looking for a new and challenging position? If so we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our Bradford client on a Part Time permanent basis. Duties include · Checking and Processing purchase invoices · Matching POs & raising queries with internal teams · Supplier statement reconciliations · Daily communication with suppliers · Dealing with payment enquiries & invoice queries · Requesting new vendor accounts · Following up credit notes for disputed invoices · Preparing and submitting purchase ledger period end balance sheet reconciliation · Producing and submitting monthly item charges cost report to management · Assist with petty cash transactions · Arrange purchase of foreign currency requirements · Posting sales ledger receipts and credit notes · Answering telephone calls (as required) · Other ad hoc duties as required Experience Required · Knowledge of Word and Excel · Knowledge of MS Nav desirable · Must have understanding of VAT on expenses and purchase invoices · Previous experience in a similar role · Strong communication skills · Good team working skills · Accurate, especially with numbers · Presents self in a professional manner · Trustworthy and able to keep information confidential · Able to use initiative The location would suit applicants who live in Bradford, Halifax, Brighouse and surrounding areas.
