Overview

A Higher Path Ltd, currently seeking motivated Support Worker. The main responsibilities of the role to work within a supported living service. You will be supporting Young People, that may have multiple learning difficulties, challenging behaviours and complex needs. To be considered, the ideal candidate will hold at 2 years experience within a care related environment Main responsibilities of the Support Worker Check each Young Person needs and progress Identifying and responding to the needs of young person focusing on improving their mental and physical well-being Create a safe and positive living environment. Set rules for young people's behaviour. Teach daily living skills such as budgeting, shopping and claiming benefits. Provide leisure and creative activities in a safe and supportive setting. Help young people to deal with problems and become independent. Work with other health and care professionals. Requirements of the Support Worker Hold a NVQ3 qualification At least 2 years paid experience within a care related environment Will be subject to a DBS check.
