Office Manager, Part time, R&D, Medical We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Office Manager to join an incredible Oxford-based medical R&D start-up in the midst of fantastic growth This is a part-time opportunity in which there is no prescription to what this will require. We are very open to hearing the part-time preferences you require and seeing how these align with the role. The Company Spun-out of an existing, successful scientific R&D firm, and with funding secured, the Office Manager will be joining a talented and dedicated team as they look to develop proof of principle technology into a fully functioning product prototype. Using ultrasound technology, the company has developed a novel, minimally-invasive surgical procedure that has the potential to transform spinal surgery. What’s Required? Joining a start-up requires someone with flexibility, pragmatism and initiative, as well as a willingness to embrace problems to work to find solutions, but the work will be hugely rewarding, as you get to see each day, the impact that you’re having upon the product’s progress. Key experience for this Office Manager position includes: Experience working to update and manage data and documentations within quality management systems Experience maintaining and updating procedures, policies and paperwork Experience in finance e.g. invoicing and scheduling payments – Specifically using Xero Experience maintaining team systems including post, office supplies and similar Experience working in a similar medical environment such as a med-tech organisation or the NHS would be highly desirable.
