Overview

Do you have good experience dealing with engineering processes? Have you had experience completing time and motion studies? This could be your opportunity to join a growing aerospace company on a 3-month contract in Fareham as an Industrial Engineer. The job Using your engineering knowledge and experience, you will be helping to get a grip on the length of time each product takes to manufacture, and the processes that each product goes through so that the company has an accurate understanding of lead times & set up times. This will involve spectating the shop floor & members of staff to understand exactly what stages they are putting each part through, then accurately recording the information in a presentable fashion. Experience: Your previous experience of working in a variety of engineering/ manufacturing environments will help you to quickly get underway in this role as you will have had good exposure to numerous processes & products. Having experience of recording 'time in motion' will allow you to hit the ground running quickly. The contract This is a 3-month contract based in Fareham, either set up a temp (LTD or PAYE) or alternatively, you could join the company on a Fixed Term Contract, whichever works best for you.
