Senior Human Factors Engineer - Medical Devices - Cambridge A fast-growing, dynamic medical devices firm based in Cambridge are looking to expand their R&D division by bringing on board a talented Human Factors Engineer. We are looking for people who love solving complex engineering problems and who enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams. As a Human Factors Engineer, you will be working on a number of advanced engineering projects aimed at improving and/or saving people's lives. You will be utilising your human factors commercial knowledge and experience and apply it to real-world, invasive and hand-held medical devices. You will be working closely with world-class engineers as well as surgeons, nurses and healthcare professionals, to ensure their feedback is translated into the usability of the product. The aim of your work is to improve the usability of the product, which will in turn lower the risk to patients. To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a degree in product design, human factors, psychology or other related subjects. You will have a thorough understanding of human factors principles as well as knowledge of the medical devices sector. You will also need to possess an open mind and show that you like to challenge ideas.
