Head of Science – Lewisham – September 2020 A high-achieving, Good graded school in Lewisham are looking for an inspirational Head of Science to join them in September 2020 on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will currently be a Head of Science, 2iC Science or a lead practitioner and Outstanding Science Teacher. You will have extensive experience and knowledge of the British curriculum, experience with data and a track-record of being an Outstanding Science Teacher. This high-achieving school has seen a huge surge of recent improvement, following changes in the SLT and school’s development plan they have gone from strength to strength, now being rated as one of the highest achieving in the borough. Part of this change saw the Head of Science transition into the SLT, hence the vacancy has arisen but doesn’t need filling immediately (i.e a September start). Informal visits and tours can be arranged with discretion before moving to interview stage, but please do apply early. With no closing date set, the school will appoint when the right Head of Science/Future Head of Science comes along.
