Overview

This High Growth VC backed SAAS ML Analytics start-up are looking for a Head of Software Engineering to join the team and help grow and shape this businessess engineering function. Role As a Head of Software Engineering you will be responsible for growing a talented team of engineers and create a highly productive engineering team that ships ships regularly. You'll coach engineers, develop best practices for development and deliver against Quaterly objectives. You should be an excellent communicator and listener e.g. creating detailed design specs for engineers or helping unblock them. You will work with the businesses CTO to plan and deliver against our roadmap and to create and maintain a scalable architecture. What you'll do Recruit, Manage and Develop the Engineering team. Grow and develop both a platform engineering team and a data engineering team Lead and develop the team's projects and engineering practices Day-to-day management of agile sprints Collaborating with the CTO to develop quarterly plans and then executing on these goals Coaching others in technical tasks and you'll do some hands-on coding yoursel Requirements You have experience managing a team. You thrive on leading and developing people, not just the technology side.
