Overview
Looking to continue to develop your advisory skills working predominantly in the sporting industry? Your new company A specialist firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant to join the team on a part time flexible basis to manage a portfolio of clients within the sporting industry. This firm specialise in the sport industry and provide both compliance and advisory services to sporting professionals. Initially you will join the firm on a part time basis and there will be the option to build up your hours over time if you're looking to develop your portfolio. Your new role As a Senior Accountant / Client Manager you will be allocated a small portfolio of sports professionals for which you will be responsible for providing day to day accounting services, year end accounts and tax compliance and tax advisory services. Key areas you will advise on include image rights, establishing and maintaining family trusts and pensions tax. You will also work with the director to attend networking events and participate in business development. You will predominantly work from home unless attending client meetings or networking events. What you'll need to succeed The firm are seeking a qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CTA) who has gained experience working with clients in the sporting industry and has therefore had exposure to areas such as agents, trusts, image rights, establishing company structures etc. You must be able to demonstrate strong client liaison skills and the ability to advise clients on various tax issues.
