Job Title : Senior Carer Location : Swansea Salary : Negotiable Type : Full-Time Reference : KPSFCS0320 Job Description Kare Plus Swansea are currently recruiting for a Senior Carer to enable our clients to remain in their own homes by providing the highest standard of support and care required to help them achieve maximum independence whilst maintaining their self-respect and dignity Main Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited too; Assisting with the induction of new care staff, namely shadowing and maintaining all relevant documentation. Undertaking training relevant to the position. Attending & representing the company at non-complex care reviews and other meetings. Attending meetings with the Senior Care Coordinating Team as requested. Completing random checks on care staff for time keeping and quality of care monitoring. Facilitating the smooth running of the company by direct supervision where necessary. Not to act in any way which is detrimental to the client or company. Be on-call on a rotational basis and take responsibility if a run goes down. Undertaking other duties that are necessary to the main purpose of your job, such as checking medication sheets and communication sheets are completed. Keeping up to date with relevant policies and procedures and to support the implementation and monitoring of these. Working evenings and weekends on a rotational basis as & when required in cases of emergency cover. Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
