Overview

Job Title: Practice Administrator Reporting to: Administration Manager Job Type: Full Time/Permanent Hours: 40 Hours, occasionally evenings and weekends Location: Manchester Summary of role An exciting opportunity to work within an established team delivering an exceptional patient experience within a national based clinical setting. The Farjo Hair Institute is also a research and education centre, exploring and developing new hair transplant techniques, innovative surgical procedures and other potential future treatments. Our founders have carefully built a highly qualified, highly experienced team. Specific Responsibilities Work under the direct supervision of Administration Manager Answer the telephone and direct calls as appropriate Dealing with patients who are attending for consultations and procedures. Booking patient consultation appointments Processing patient orders for hair treatment medications and cosmetic products. Data entry onto computer system from all patient medical history forms. Taking patient payments over the telephone. Reconciliation of credit card machines at end of the day Dealing with incoming and outgoing post. Stock Management Maintain filing system. Working with and assisting all members of staff within multidisciplinary teams Daily checking on reception area to make sure tidy and sufficient patient information available (i.e. brochure stands, patient magazines). NB. Although this list contains the main duties expected it is not to be considered to be exhaustive. Education Essential: A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent (including English and Maths) Person specification We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, reliable, honest and trustworthy team player with the ability to provide an exceptional level of patient care within a fast paced and developing industry, who is also experienced in working as a team/alone for a desired outcome and place patient satisfaction as a priority. The candidate must also have some understanding of office management systems such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
