Overview
The Opportunity This is an exciting permanent opportunity for an experience Supplier Relationship Manager to join one of the world’s largest telecommunications organisation. This role is permanent and can be based in London (or Basingstoke if prefered). This position is considered a Senior role within the business; the ideal candidate will therefore need to have solid hands on experience and extensive knowledge of suppliers in EMEA region for Dark Fibre. The Role The Supplier Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing a broad portfolio of infrastructure providers as well as identifying and onboarding new suppliers for Dark Fibre. Working with numerous internal teams, the Supplier Relationship Manager will work on quotes, contract negotiations and orders as well as identifying and delivering cost saving projects. The Supplier Relationship Manager will own the commercial relationship with vendors and will be responsible for a P&L of approx. £30m Key Skills and Requirements Proven knowledge and experience of EMEA region Dark Fibre / Space & Power Proven experience in negotiating contracts and commercial arrangements Strong commercial acumen Strong communication skills – able to build trusting relationships with vendors / suppliers Solid leadership skills – able to mentor and coach junior members of the team Permanent Location: London (or Basingstokeis preferred) Salary : £60,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience) benefits If this Supplier Relationship Manager role is of interest, please send your CV in for review.
