Executive Assistant Executive Assistant Edgbaston, Birmingham Al Rayan Bank is a growing, ethical and incredibly diverse bank based in new offices in the leafy suburb of Edgbaston, a stone's throw away from central Birmingham. Reporting directly into the Chief Operations Officer for Al Rayan Bank in the newly refurbished office in Edgbaston, your role will be crucial in supporting the performance of the Operations function. Your day to day duties will include delivering a full range of executive assistant and secretarial support to the business as well as supporting the monitoring and delivery of the Operations function objectives. Through your organisational skills you will be required to coordinate and facilitate leadership meetings, forums and events, preparing agendas, taking minutes, tracking action logs and the follow up actions. This will be required to ensure the relevant focus and standard of submissions, papers and presentations are achieved. Part of this role will be to develop and coordinate reporting and management information (MI), annual planning processes, and the progress of Operational initiatives aligned to the Bank’s objectives, in collaboration with managers and key stakeholders throughout the Bank. Key responsibilities and tasks Experience of assisting executive level management teams. Advanced user of Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proven experience of successfully delivering a range of projects and activities. Experience of building and managing effective relationships at senior level. Knowledge of business planning and performance management cycle. Self-motivated, self-managing with an entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to adapt to changing situations. Excellent planning, organisational and personal effectiveness skills, including time and project management. Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation skills and ability to present confidently and to engage and manage stakeholders, developing effective relationships at all levels effectively. Good numeracy skills as well as report and minute writing skills Passionate about delivering the highest level of customer service. Ability to cope with a heavy workload whilst maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines in a calm, proficient manner and project a professional image at all times. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy including proof reading skills ensuring reliability at all times & committed to producing high quality & professional work Collation and analysis and interpretation of Management Information Experience working in a regulated environment IT literate with the ability to effectively use all Bank proprietary systems relevant to role.
