Looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented PHP Developer to join the team. You will work for one of the fastest growing online vehicle components business in Europe having presence on eBay, Amazon and its website. Opportunities to progress at this speed of growth are unavoidable Day to Day Building complex software systems in an agile environment that have been successfully delivered to customers Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical users, and senior management to collect requirements and describe software product features, technical designs and product strategy Integrating with third party APIs such as eBay, Amazon, Fed Ex and Royal Mail Hands-on expertise in disparate technologies, from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and anything in-between Setting and managing expectations Understanding computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis Designing and building data-driven web applications, integrating with third party RESTful APIs Attention to detail, analytical thinking, methodical, problem solving ability, and strong time management skills A desire and enthusiasm to evaluate new/alternative technologies and approaches Some of The Technologies They Work With Knowledge of PHP 7 and MySQL, working with MVC frameworks in a Linux environment In-depth knowledge of front-end standards such as HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery Use of test-driven development techniques Experience working in Jira or a similar tool Automated testing and continuous delivery Information Security expertise Linux system administration What can you expect from the Company? 25 days of holidays (flexibility to take them) Choose your hardware (Mac and Linux) Flexible hours Free parking Real possibilities to grow, share ideas and put them into practice Great working atmosphere and friendly environment, not only a place to work but where you can meet and create relationships too The team also run regular sessions where you can experiment with and learn new technologies, share your experiences with teammates and run technical ideas within the team.
