Overview

ForgeRock Developer An amazing opportunity to work for an innovative and well-known organisation. Our client is now looking for an experienced OpenAM/OpenDJ developer, to aid them in a major project to migrate an existing OpenAM/OpenDJ service to AWS, upgrading all features to the latest available versions. You will be involved in designing and implementing the service on a new AWS architecture, and also work alongside the support team in the creation of documentation. What this role entails: Migrate an existing ForgeRock OpenAM/ OpenDJ to AWS Upgrade the core ForgeRock OpenAM/ OpenDJ applications Move java features into core ForgeRock applications, alternatively redevelop custom Java features to work with upgraded applications Creating support documentation and processes To be considered for the role, you will require the following : 1. Experience of AWS services Amazon EC2 - Amazon Linux 2 AMI Classic Load Balancer Amazon Route 53 Amazon Simple Email Service Amazon S3 buckets 2. Extensive experience and knowledge of ForgeRock applications covering OpenAM 11.0.0 - 6.5.2.2 upgrade Web Server Clients & Web Server Provider Security Token Service (STS) Client Agent Authenticator Authorisation Policies migration Migrate from SOAP-based communication to REST-based communication OpenDJ - including CTS Store 2.6.1.10289 - 6.5.2 upgrade Custom schema additions Web Policy Agent 3.3.4 - 5.6.2.0 upgrade Migration from proprietary mechanism to standards-based OpenID Connect protocol 3. Experience of java development to assist with migration of custom features including User self-service functionality External Java web application using Spring Boot Spring MVC FreeMarker templating Bootstrap AngularJS Providing the following functionality Registration Password Change Forgotten Password Post Authentication Plug-in (custom java class) Provides following functionality Custom behaviour following successful login Custom Authentication Module (custom java class) Provides following functionality Impersonate another user Authenticate using a username and an X509 certificate Authenticate using a token or API key Authentication using an Active Directory authentication 4. A proven ability to communicate easily, enthusiastically and professionally with a range of customers. 5. Good team-working skills and, when appropriate, the ability to work to your own initiative. 6. An ability to work to demanding timescales.
