Infrastructure Architect – London, EC1 – Banking & Finance Infrastructure, Middleware, Data Platform, Mainframes, Networking, Cloud, Data Centre £Market rate The Company My client is a leading provider of Banking services in the UK, they operate a customer centric approach to banking, ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything including their technology. The role will operate in a central technology function responsible for the delivery IT Architecture, Transformation and Innovation across the bank. Your main responsibilities will be: The role is accountable for the delivery of end to end architecture across multiple domains including Cloud, Datacentre Ops, Banking Mainframe and Middleware Platforms. You will work with internal; technology teams and suppliers to ensure all technical solutions in pre-production and the live environment are designed and delivered in line with functional requirements and technical governance. Essential Skills Deep understanding and knowledge of: Middleware deployments in an enterprise environment Data Centre and Networking Technology Microservice Architecture Data and Storage Technology Midrange and Mainframe computing Cloud based computing solutions in a complex and enterprise environment The right candidate will have strong experience in owning end-to-end infrastructure solutions in an enterprise environment providing live, operational services in partnership with MSP adopting outsourced IT models.
