Overview

I am currently looking to assist a growing company in Knaresborough recruit a Telephone Helpline Assistant to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. My client prides themselves on very high levels of customer service and the personal way they deal with telephone calls. You will be fielding incoming calls and well as making outgoing calls to members of professional and membership groups. You will be providing non advised information within a regulated industry. If you are a bubbly and outgoing person who thrives on giving great customer service and developing customer relations this could be the position for you. Our client is looking for someone with great attention to detail but can remain calm and professional under pressure to join their team. Responsibilities: Receive incoming calls from potential customers Make outgoing calls to potential customers following their initial enquiries and to answer questions they may have about plans Sign up new business over the telephone You must be able to use Microsoft Office and have some basic office experience. You must have the ability to gain a thorough knowledge of the plans offered in order to be able to speak confidently about them. Accuracy is a must as telephone conversation must be recorded in great detail. You must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and be able to influence and negotiate without using pressurised techniques. The hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch. Salary £18,000 - £20,000.
