About the Job Care UK has been awarded a new contract for the delivery of Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) services across Surrey. This means that we will be delivering urgent care through NHS 111, utilising GPs and specialist clinicians to deliver the best possible urgent care services 24/7, 365 days per year, to over 1 million patients in the region. The job will be based in our Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) for Surrey and is located in our call centre in Ipswich. In order to deliver this vision, we are looking for clinicians who are able to work within Telephone Assessment. Full training will be given. You will be responsible for assessing patients, using a telephone assessment triage system (TAS) and streaming them to the most appropriate service or advice. You will be working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team in the CAS which consists of GPs/ANPs, Registered Nurses, UCPs, Mental Health and Dental Nurses and Prescribing Pharmacists and Pharmacy Advisors This is an exciting new opportunity to make a difference to patients, simplifying the way that they can access urgent care to get the right treatment in the right place at the right time. The Requirements Be a qualified Nurse or Paramedic with valid PIN Number (NMC or HCPC) Have evidence of continuous Professional Development Recent experience in an acute/primary care setting Have a sound understanding of telephone advice/triage Have excellent communication skills, including a clear speaking voice. Salary & Benefits We have permanent jobs available on a full or part-time basis, working up to 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are available for mid-week evenings and weekends at any time.
