Job Specification For: Delivery Driver Meyer Scott Ref: VR/07872 Over Temp GBP9.50 p/h Our new client are a wholesale supplier of Fresh Produce to Local Education Authorities within East Anglia and the home counties. They are currently looking for a delivery driver to join their friendly team on a temp ongoing basis at their site in Over. Duties to include : · Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver produce to schools in and around Hertfordshire · Undertaking around 15-20 drops a day · Completion of paperwork at each delivery · Assisting in van loading on odd occasions if necessary · Basic vehicle safety checks · Driving safely to speed limits and obeying all road laws as necessary · Driving with extreme care when attending schools · Any other reasonable request by management or Supervisor Ideal Candidate - · Clean licence preferred but 3-6 points may be acceptable dependent on circumstances · Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes · Experience of driving 3.5 tonne vans preferred · A pleasant demeanour when dealing with what are essentially the companys clients when delivering · A reliable and professional attitude in the workplace Working Hours - 05.30 - 14.00-15.00 on Monday, Thursday and Friday
