MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - DAYTIME SHIFTS AND NO WEEKENDS Our global manufacturing client require a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to complement their existing team on the outskirts of Leeds. The purpose of the role will be the effective maintenance and repair of all designated plant and equipment to maximise uptime. In return the company are offering excellent benefits, including 33 days holiday and free onsite parking. JOB DESCRIPTION Planned Maintenance activities on CNC machine tools (PPM). Reactive Maintenance activities on CNC machine tools (RM). Assist in the building maintenance for the Leeds site, ensuring statutory compliance and being a contact in respect off maintenance and site development matters. Ensure Subcontract work is carried out under the appropriate safe working policies. All Subcontractors should be assessed, provide RAMS and work in accordance with HS&E. Develops, evaluates, or reviews plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities; assesses feasibility of proposals. Reviews and/or inspects work for quality, accuracy, and completeness acting as a contact point between contractors and departmental heads and other suppliers, etc. Familiar with the environmental aspects and impacts of the activities and processes involved in the role and the procedures, practices and measures to manage the impact. Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks. Participate in and actively support company initiatives. Participate in and actively support continuous improvement initiatives. All other duties as relevant to the post.
