Electro-Mechanical Engineer Based in Leeds Salary up to £32,000 benefits A global manufacturer of glass products is looking to recruit an engineer for their Leeds production facility. The Role You would be part of a team of engineers responsible for maintaining and developing the manufacturing plant and equipment using both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines. Work will include… o Diagnosis of plant/equipment defects, develop solutions o Assist with R & D projects to develop improved manufacturing plant and re-engineering. o Hands on fabrication/assembly of equipment o Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the site The Candidate o Strong mechanical and electrical engineering experience o Ideally a broad range of electrical and mechanical engineering skills, fabrication, design, pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC control o CAD/CAM competency o Analytical with strong technical fault-finding ability o Excellent prioritisation and project development skills o A fast learner who is resourceful with high attention to detail o The following experience would be an advantage but not essential… o Thryristor control of transformers o Experienced with refractory materials and high temperature environment The Company A product leader in its field for over 30 years, you would be joining a thriving provider of glass manufacturing and innovation.
