Overview
My client is one of the most successful and highly regarded businesses in Manchester and requires an additional Assistant Management Accountant to join the team. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be based in a friendly and supportive team with responsibility of completing accurate and timely designated month end activities. You will be studying ACCA, CIMA or ACA and your duties will include:- - Accurate and timely completion of designated month end activities - Preparing and posting journals including accruals and prepayments - Reconciliation of balance sheet nominals complete with supporting documentation, completing variance analysis and investigating aged / unfamiliar balances - Assisting in the preparation of external group reporting requirements such as VAT, R&D, Payroll - Provide business partnering support to the wider business - Reconciliation and preparation of cash book - Ownership of Parent company legal entities - Assisting in external audit queries - Other adhoc work that may be required This is a fantastic role for a team player who is willing to go the extra mile and work with a variety of departments. You will work with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, have the ability to multi task and prioritise activities and have an advanced level of Excel knowledge.
