Overview
Intro My client a leading US Law Firm in London are looking for an ambitious Real Estate Finance associate to join their thriving REF practice. In an increasingly sophisticated market this firm offers bespoke advice on a range of domestic and cross border financings. They are consistently recognised for being one of the leading firms in the real estate market. The Role They are looking for a junior associate with a credible interest in the Real Estate sector. The firm regularly advise on some of the largest transactions sponsor led transactions in the market. They act for a range of private equity houses, management teams, sovereign wealth funds and alternative lenders across. They also do range of equity and commercial property transactions. The practice is focused on commercial mortgage loan origination (senior and mezzanine), loan-on-loan and other NPL financing and development finance primarily acting for sponsors and debt funds. The team is relatively small and so junior associates will gain exposure to the high-end mechanics of every transaction, as well as enjoying high levels of direct client contact. The firm have been boosted with highly prestigious recent partner hires and are looking to grow the team further. Due to the reputation and the brand of this team they regularly advise on landmark deals. Also on offer is high quality training and direct partner mentoring. The Requirements You will have a strong commitment to the banking or real estate sector and finance law. You will have strong academics with a minimum 2 (or equivalent) from a top university. You will be between NQ-2PQE. The firm will consider September 2019 applicants if the candidate has a seat rotation which is complimentary to finance and/or real estate law. The firm are open to candidates from multiple jurisdictions. The firm will specifically be interested in candidates who are England & Wales, Irish or Scottish qualified. They will also consider candidates from regional firms who can demonstrate the necessary commitment and desire to move to London.
