Overview
Driven Planning and Commercial Senior Lawyer sought for an established firm in Cambridgeshire. An opportunity has arisen for a driven planning and commercial law lawyer, barrister or legal executive to head a department in our client’s thriving firm in the Cambridge area. Running a varied caseload alongside managing the team, the successful candidate will provide an excellent performance at all times. Responsibilities • Contentious and non-contentious matters • Commercial property matters • Highways and planning matters • Contract and procurement matters • Strategic management and development • Providing legal advice as required • Attending court and tribunals undertaking advocacy The Candidate • Qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive with a minimum of five years experience • Legal and managerial experience within the public sector • Knowledge of local government law and practice • Experience of leading and managing a team • Interpersonal skills and team player The Firm Our client is a highly regarded social enterprise law firm specialising in the Public Sector.
