Overview
Head of Underwriting- Home Based ALS Recruitment are currently recruiting for an exciting and unique opportunity to join a growing organisation as the Head of Underwriting. As the Head of Underwriting your main responsibility will be to provide reliable & expert advice to the business in relation to the underwriting standards & philosophies required for delivering Delegated Schemes & strategic initiatives. You’ll provide insight & guidance to the business on the appropriate content and warranties for policy wordings and supporting documentation and educate the business on best practice in relation to maintaining first class underwriting standards. This is a home based opportunity with travel to London and other locations when required. Experience: Expert understanding of insurance underwriting principles Experience of designing & implementing underwriting frameworks High level of understanding of policy wordings Good knowledge of all general insurance product lines Excellent communication skills A collaborative and innovative approach to working
