My established and reputed client is now recruiting a solicitor into their defendant professional indemnity team in Exeter. This nationwide team defends claims against solicitors, accountants, surveyors, architects, construction professionals, insurance brokers and other financial services providers. Clients will include major insurers, Lloyd's syndicates, third party administrators, professional services firms and policyholders. As well as handling a professional indemnity caseload, you will also have the opportunity to work with the team’s insurance policy drafting unit, working alongside its contentious/non-contentious financial services experts. Applications are welcomed from solicitors and legal executives with a defendant professional indemnity background, although those from a claimant background are also encouraged to apply. This is a junior-level role so is suited to a solicitor who is NQ-3 years' PQE. If at NQ level then one of your training seats should be within insurance and/or commercial litigation.
