Structured Finance Paralegal at top US Law Firm, up to £40,000
Overview
Our forward thinking US law firm client is currently looking for a Paralegal to join their Structured Finance group and the main purpose of the role will be the collection and organisation of documents and information, there will then be scope to assist with the transaction management process, complete verification exercises and undertake some drafting work. The main responsibilities for this role are assisting with the conditions precedent satisfaction process on transactions, assisting with the drafting of certain corporate documentation such as board minutes or resolutions, assisting with the transaction process on structured finance transaction unwinds and amendments, including assisting the team in drafting notices to noteholders and transaction unwind deeds, assisting with noteholder consent solicitation processes, assisting the team in preparing verification tables for offering document information, preparation and distribution of 'bibles' of documents once a deal has closed, assisting with other post-closing tasks, including the collation and distribution of original documents, security filings and the giving of notices. Candidates should have previous Paralegal experience within a private practice environment and exposure to Structured Finance, Securitisation or CLO’s would be beneficial. The core hours for this role are 9.30am – 5.30pm.
