Overview

We are currently seeking senior economists to join our economist team at the company’s headquarters in Norwich or our London office (Farringdon). These roles will be expected to work across a range of different sectors, as well as to help develop new sectors. You will work with our Economics Technical Director and the existing team to develop existing economics processes, methodologies and areas of expertise. We are currently seeking senior economists to join our economist team at the company’s headquarters in Norwich or our London office (Farringdon). These roles will be expected to work across a range of different sectors, as well as to help develop new sectors. You will work with our Economics Technical Director and the existing team to develop existing economics processes, methodologies and areas of expertise. As a senior economist, the essential skills you will need include: A background in micro and/or macroeconomic theory; Relevant experience ideally within the fields of human health and environmental policy; Demonstrable skills in applied economic analysis, including: experience in the valuation of human health and economic modelling techniques, econometrics or statistical analysis; 5 years’ experience in consultancy or similar environment. Preferable skills also include: Experience of applying economics thinking to impact assessments and evaluations, according to UK and EU guidelines; Experience of successful public tendering within the sector; Leadership and people management; Experience of leading relevant projects for either public or private sector clients; Links and networks within industry, the public sector and/or academia; Excellent written English (other language skills would also be an advantage). Ability to translate the economic theory and modelling to different policy and project contexts. Salary is competitive and will align with level and experience.
