Synchronicity Compliance is delighted to be working with a leading Insurer who have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Compliance Professional to join them as Head of Compliance. The role: Within this role you will have overall responsibility for the strategic and operational compliance areas. Responsible for management and oversight of compliance and risk management for all UK Companies. Establishing standards and implementing procedures, ensuring compliance programs throughout are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting and correcting non-compliance. Designing, evaluating, supporting and influencing a culture of compliance throughout. Identifying areas for improvement and implement change accordingly. Work closely with and provide assurance to Senior Management and the Board that effective and efficient policies and procedures are in place. Provide coaching and guidance to board members and senior management to enable them to fulfil their regulatory responsibilities. Actively monitor regulatory developments, assess the potential impact on the business and deliver findings and recommendations. To apply: You must have worked at within a similar level role and have experience of leading a compliance function within a General Insurance environment. My client will consider someone who is looking to make the step up to this level, but you must have the experience and knowledge required. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels especially with senior stakeholders and at Board Level. Robust knowledge of Regulatory Compliance.
