As Strategic Resourcing & Talent Lead, you’ll be at the heart of this work, recruiting exceptional candidates, developing talent and creating an outstanding working environment. With a strategic approach to these tasks, you’ll be instrumental in making Hammersmith & Fulham ‘the best council to work for’. To make sure we have the right people, in the right place at the right time, you’ll create a first-class resourcing and talent strategy, plus a smart workforce plan. Your goal will be to elicit exceptional feedback from both candidates and managers regarding the resourcing, on-boarding and learning experience. By attracting and retaining talent, we can build the best workforce for our communities. Leading a seven-strong team, you’ll find the best people for the Council. You’ll use digital methods creatively; create engagement and employee experience programmes for managers; source professional development solutions, talent and apprenticeship programmes; and foster opportunities for progression. You’ll also see that this is a great place to work, with excellent Learning & Development (L&D). That means working closely with a range of teams and services to create a strong offering. This is a varied, senior role where you’ll connect with the CEO. You must therefore be a skilled professional with experience of Resourcing and L&D at a strategic level. You’ll also be up to speed with the latest approaches to digitalisation, blended learning and online learning platforms. With this knowledge, you’ll develop a strategy for future digital transformation. Thanks to your contract management experience, you’ll also manage outsourced providers in a professional way.
