Overview

Project Manager - Digital Transformation Up to £60,000 per annum South London I am currently working with a top 15 insurance firm looking to break into the top 5 through a massive Digital Transformation programme. They see the transformation of their digital infrastructure as being central into breaking into the top 5 insurance companies around The UK and as such this has a high priority status internally. As part of this transformation they will be looking to hire a Project Manager who will be responsible for; project budget control (additional sign-off required), contact with core business partners for enhancements (CDL), communicating to all staff level and business representatives for process and document management. Scope: Maintaining a project portfolio in line with Programmes & Change roadmap Internal and external stakeholder management of needs and expectations, using influencing and negotiation skills Project budget control (additional sign-off required Schedule and resource dependencies and conflict between projects Delivery of the change to meet business needs Risk management (identification & reporting Project planning & performance monitoring Managing cross functional teams Providing governance, support and peer-review services to other members of the PMO as required Contributing to development of core PMO documentation and project delivery methodology. Ensure completion of all training as mandated by the company and regulated by the FCA. (This list is neither exclusive nor exhaustive) Must have: Stakeholder management skills (internal & external parties Experience working on Guidewire implementations (or knowledge of Guidewire system) Monitoring and reporting skills Planning skills Problem-detection, solving and trouble-shooting skills Strong communication skills Facilitation and workshop experience Proven budget control skills Proven end-to-end project delivery experience Ability to manage multiple projects / work streams simultaneously Cross-functional multi-tasked projects, managing internal and external relationships Knowledge of project management processes and techniques from a varied background Knowledge of sources of project complexity Supplier management: o Management of 3rd parties / delivery of work to deadline o Developing strong working relationships with suppliers Qualifications: Relevant project management qualifications or training in both PRINCE II and AGILE (Scrum ideally) At least 2 year's project management experience Personally managed 3 significant projects successfully involving systems, business and technical changes including product development If this is a role you would be interested in, please send an up to date CV.
