Overview
Working in a small company of 3 people, they have a fantastic opportunity for you to come and join their friendly hard working team. The Role Working by yourself, and taking sole responsibility for their warehouse. As warehouse manager your time will be split equally across 3 key areas - despatching goods, receiving goods and stores administration / management. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:- - Picking, packing and despatching low volume, high value orders. - Stock control via their computerised system to ensure all orders can be fulfilled on time. - Checking and receiving incoming deliveries and undertaking general stores and warehouse duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment. - Liaise with suppliers and transport companies. - Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, and dispatch of goods - Respond to and deal with supplier communication by telephone and email - Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate - Maintain standards of health, safety and security in the work environment. Skills You will need to have: - Excellent communication skills - Planning and organising skills - The ability to liaise with and update the sales and management team - Analytical ability - Initiative and decisiveness - Enthusiasm - Problem-solving skills - Highly accurate with an eye for detail The Person You will be a friendly relaxed person with good communication and language skills. With an excellent eye for detail and accuracy, you will be confident working on your own and be able to manage and prioritise your own time throughout the day. Due to the manual handling aspect of this job you will need to be physically fit. If you can demonstrate the above skills, previous experience not required.
