Overview

We’re looking for a Junior Web Developer to join our client’s close-knit digital agency and build best-in-class websites alongside their team. As a Junior Web Developer you’ll play a key role in the full delivery of exciting digital projects for ambitious brands and clients, taking designs to prototype and building these into their CMS (WordPress), ensuring technical and functional standards are met, rigorously tested and relentlessly improved. The person for this role will relish producing brilliantly written-code that is performant and using technology to its full and necessary potential. You’ll be highly efficient both in front-end and in integrating into WordPress, working with the technical director whilst taking a leading position on the planning, mapping, assessment and execution of websites, whilst providing mentor-ship for junior developers. Skills: Precise adherence to quality front-end - HTML, CSS (LESS/BEM), highly competent with JS Custom WP themes and plugins (PHP, MySQL) Hooking into and operating with API’s Testing, bug fixing and support Task runners, build tools, version control Excellent communication skills (Verbal, written, presentation) Ability to work under pressure, within a fast-paced environment Creative thinker and natural problem solver Works great within a team and capable of working alone Loves to learn, develop and challenge themselves
