Overview

We're working on a global Senior HR Business Partner position witH an international Asset Management firm based in theIR London office of around 200 employees. As global HRBP to one of the Investment divisions, you'll be required to build strong relationships with very senior stakeholders based in London and across Europe (very little travel required, no more than a few times a year), and also support the HOHR in London with roll out of HR Strategy across the wider office. The Head of HR is a fantastic HR professional who is straight talking and looking for someone to work closely with her that is comfortable challenging, bringing ideas to the table but understands the need for patience in a hierarchical matrix structured firm. This role will suit someone with experience in financial services and that has an understanding of regulation in this sector. Responsibilities will include: Support a Global Investment Team and other UK business areas to interpret business needs, identify trends and convert to initiatives and solutions across international and UK entities Provide accurate guidance in order to support, influence and challenge as appropriate and in like with HR policies Work with hiring managers and global HR teams on recruitment needs Support Senior Management with induction ongoing to retention and employee engagement Drive a performance culture through identifying & facilitating development targets and initiatives, as well as coaching managers on any performance issues Play a key role in end to end annual remuneration Coach line managers including Heads of Department on people issues Project management and implementation of a variety of HR initiatives Support talent, mobility and succession planning Candidates suitable for this opportunity will: Have at least 5 years of experience in the financial services sector, ideally working closely with a global investment client group as an HR generalist Be flexible, a team player and have a problem-solving character Have experience working with stakeholders at Senior Manager level and Heads of Department Have very strong analytical skills Be able to demonstrate experience in managing HR projects
