Overview
A leading global professional services firm is looknig for an HR Case Manager to join their centralised employee relations advisory team. The role focuses on the end to end management of complex ER cases, leading and / or project managing people change programmes and initiatives , and proactively supporting, coaching and educating business stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead the end to end management of complex ER cases including senior level cases Engage with HR Advisors and Employee Relations colleagues to support complex cases and refer standard level work as appropriate Preparation, delivery and implementation of people change programmes and initiatives (TUPE, mergers, Acquisitions, reorganisation, redundancy etc) Proactively identify development needs of key stakeholders/groups to improve understanding of ER management, UK employment law and firmwide policies and procedures Deliver training to meet these development needs. Working with the HR Advisory Manager, proactively identify actions and initiatives that will continue to enhance the operational HR service delivery to the UK&I Region Support HR Advisory Manager to coach/educate key team members on to support specific cases. Contribute and participate projects to support UK&I people agenda Analyse and assess the risks associated with individual cases Manage relationships with stakeholders by setting expectations, communicating status, analysing issues, responding to concerns and providing support throughout the process by applying commercial and pragmatic thought to available solutions. Maintain the relevant MI tracker in a timely manner for your own cases and projects Analyse and identify trends and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders to establish potential root cause of identified trends and recommend actions/help to develop solutions. Ensure key stakeholders are kept up to date in relation to organisation change programme progress and high risk ER cases. Provide advice and support on occupational and psychological health issues and other related topics as required Attend monthly HR team meetings to share knowledge/lessons learnt on cases/programmes managed. Requirements Experienced HR manager with the ability to deal with ambiguity and complex situations Solid experience of dealing with complex individual Employee Relations cases up to and including liaison with external third parties. Excellent knowledge of UK Employment Law and employee relations. Hands on experience of leading organisational change programmes and dealing with complex capability management, disciplinaries, grievances, absence/OH cases, redundancies, TUPE etc. Evidence of supporting, coaching and developing junior colleagues as well as peers. Evidence of having dealt with busy work load in an organised manner, juggling multiple priorities and with attention to detail where there are competing demands on workload and deliverables. HR qualification, ideally CIPD qualified. Confidence to provide advice professionally and assertively to senior business leaders, both verbally and in writing.
