Overview
A global law firm are seeking a Resource Manager to join their team. This is a global position that will require some travel occasionally. As Resource Manager, you will be responsible for: Driving resource management implementation and adoption across the firm Acting as a trusted advisor to the Partner group and acting as main point of contact for all resourcing requests and queries Having a thorough understanding of each industry group and their team structures and matter types Continuing the adoption of a work allocation function throughout the firm, promoting the benefits and driving change Providing regular updates to COO and Industry Group Leaders regarding progression of resource management Optimising the allocation of work and deployment of staff based on pipeline, utilisation and fee earner forecasted capacity Work with fee earners to help ensure matter portfolios are aligned to individual career development needs and interests where possible Creating and distributing regular data reports and management information As Resource Manager, you will possess: Previous experience in work allocation or resource management, ideally within a legal or professional services environment Strong business acumen Strong communication skills and client focus Excellent IT skills
