Job Role Title IT Field Engineer Employee Name Reportable to Head of Technical Delivery Role overview This important IT Field Engineer position joins an already established IT field team who support our clients across the UK. This role will require on site and remote support to our customers, as well as remote support to our internal IT helpdesk. This role also supports our clients out of normal working hours by being part of an on-call rota. In order to carry out the role effectively, the employee needs to be prepared to have regular trips away from home, of up to four nights a week in some situations. Role Specific Tasks Providing IT support to our client base in the hospitality industry either in person or remotely IT support in the Installation and commissioning of IP and VoIP Telephone systems To be part of the IT "out of hours" rota fixing business critical (major) faults either remotely or on site, as necessary whilst achieving the SLA Adhere to our strict customer SLA’s ensuring the best possible client experience Ensure that the company CRM system, Autotask is kept up to date with customer and site information (including all documents, network diagrams and site photos etc.) Installations of full IT infrastructures Onsite IT configurations and preventative maintenance visits on a calendar basis Onsite fault finding in servers, Desktop PC’s networking devices Support the IT Service Desk team with remote second line support fault finding & customer interaction. Attend and participate in relevant meetings with the management team, technicians, customers and suppliers as and when required General To present the highest level of customer service to every customer, every time and be a leader in working towards our customer charter Attend any relevant statutory, mandatory or development training as required To carry out any other adhoc duties as and when required To assist with any other area of the business, as required To ensure good working relationships with colleagues This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89688167
