If so, we have the perfect Development Engineer role for you… Allstaff Recruitment (Milton Keynes) are currently seeking a Development Engineerfor a full-time, permanent role with a prestigious electronics manufacturer based in Milton Keynes. The purpose of the Development Engineer role is to develop DC-DC converters and AC-DC converters to increase the company’s product portfolio. As the ideal Development Engineer, you will possess the following: A formal qualification equivalent to a UK degree level in electronics, physics or a related discipline. 2 - 3 years’ experience of electronics design, preferably power conversion. A sound theoretical understanding of analogue electronics and magnetics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to form logical conclusions. An understanding of best practices related to mechanical design considerations within the electronics industry. Experience of conducting laboratory-based testing and an understanding of measurement techniques. Experience of designing electronic components for volume manufacture. An aptitude to lead a team to deliver projects in a defined timescale. The ability to work on projects with tough product cost targets.
