Overview
Wizard Recruitment are currently recruiting for hard-working candidates to come and join our clients proactive team as a Support Worker working in their small Residential Home on a quiet and friendly street based in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. The Support Worker position available will be working alongside vulnerable groups of young adults including those with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Issues and or other Complex Care Needs. Your role as a Support Worker will be to assist in their every day lives and most importantly be to ensure that the residents remain as comfortable as possible at all times. As a Support Worker you will support the residents and help them complete a variety of day to day tasks, but predominantly promote resident independence as much as possible. You may be asked to assist in all aspects of personal care of the residents such as dressing, toileting, feeding and other daily duties. We are looking for Support Workers with: • A genuine desire to help vunerable people • A reliable and flexible attitude • The enthusiasm to overcome new challenges • A kindness and patient personality • Ability to work and relate to people from a variety of backgrounds The successful candidates will work the following shifts: Earlies – 7am-3pm Lates – 2:30pm-10pm Nights – 10pm-7:30am Our client offers a competitive salary, friendly working environment and career progression opportunities including NVQ training.
