Control, Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering here covers a wide range of complex systems and intricate infrastructure. Through a mix of placements over the course of two to four years, you’ll experience some extraordinary projects. You’ll also work with some technically brilliant people and develop your expertise. Where you can join us Places on our Control and Instrumentation Engineering programme for Autumn 2020 are available in our Marine sector. But no matter which team you join, you could be based anywhere in the UK. That’s why we ask all our graduates to be flexible and willing to move during their programme. What you'll be doing As a Control, Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer you will successfully develop and define the equipment required to efficiently control and monitor an array of industrial systems, process and machinery. From the planets largest sea-going liquefied gas tankers to nuclear power plants, you’ll discover that instrumentation is everywhere. You may find yourself developing cutting edge automated control systems for safety critical industrial applications or delivering intuitive user interface packages for innovative process plants. We’ll also support you every step of the way on your path to becoming an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer – with a competitive starting salary of £29k - £31k as you’re doing it.
