Overview
Cathedral Appointments are currently seeking a Paraplanner to join our client’s firm of independent financial advisors based in Okehampton. Your role will be to ensure that regulated work passes through the firm’s processes smoothly. This will include liaising with the financial advisors and the admin team for follow ups on client research, the preparation of client suitability reports and other investment reporting. This role will not require you to provide any advice or undertake regulatory work. To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience within financial services and in regulated advice. A level 4 diploma in financial planning would be beneficial but is not essential. Study support towards completion of CII / RO exams would be part of the benefits package. Responsibilities: Liaising between the financial advisors and the administrative team Ensuring that work progresses through processes smoothly Aiding in client research follow ups Ensuring investments are made and reports are prepared Getting sign off on suitability reports from advisors Collecting client information and booking appointments Requirements: Experience in paraplanning or and regulated advice environment Experience within financial services Ability to handle, and knowledge of, technical jargon Microsoft Office skills and the ability to use CRM systems A high attention to detail and a methodical approach to work Ideally, but not essentially, a level 4 diploma in financial planning This role will pay a competitive salary and represents a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation in an exciting and varied role.
