We are looking to recruit 6 Customer Consultants for our Telephony Guidance team based in Edinburgh. Ideally you will hold a Diploma in Financial Planning however, this is not essential, as long as you have experience within Financial Services in Pensions, Savings and Retirement products. What we’re looking for We’d love to hear from candidates who pride themselves in being able to adjust their approach to customers, and by using their financial services knowledge bring to life complex financial products in a simple way, whilst enhancing both Standard Life’s and Phoenix’s customer relationships. You’ll be empathetic towards your customer and through your exceptional communication skills and technical knowledge have an ability to highlight risks and provide balanced guidance.You’ll be a strong team player, focused on delivering fair customer outcomes and creating customer advocacy, whilst helping the team and wider department to do the same. You’ll provide an informed choice to our Customers regarding their Pensions, Savings and Retirement solutions over the telephone. You will demonstrate your understanding of your customer’s situation and needs by keeping them informed of all relevant options, risks and benefits as well as answer any technical questions whilst remaining compliant and jargon free. . Offering support and guidance to enable customers to make informed choices regarding their finances Achievement of key performance goals in relation to fair customer outcomes and productivity Meeting the requirements of the Training and Competence Scheme (TCS) Framework for informed choice to ensure Quality Best Practice and customer satisfaction Ensure compliance with TCF requirements and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations Qualifications/Experience Essential Proven track record in a customer focused Financial Services role Significant experience of conducting customer focused conversations over the phone Previous experience within Financial Services dealing with Pensions, Savings and Retirement products A passion to help customers achieve their financial goals Excellent attention to detail Effective questioning and listening skills with the ability to build rapport with customers over the telephone Desire to work towards Financial Services qualifications Desirable: Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent would be advantageous Chartered Insurance Institute RO4 & LP2, or the ability to achieve within 2 years Experience in a Financial Services direct to customer role Proven success in working to and achieving set Key Performance Indicators Key Personal Competencies: Customer at the heart Build Relationships Communication Skills Balance Risk Proposition Knowledge Laws, Regulations & Standards Delivering Results Embrace change When you join us your rewards and benefits will be one of the best in the market.
