Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Meeting and Events Manager who is extremely organised and structured who can demonstrate delivering excellent customer service for one of our clients working in the Ashby de la Zouch area working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, as the Meetings and Events Manager you will be part of an existing team working in an open plan office with a line manager to offer you support and training Our client can offer the successful candidate exceptional opportunities when it comes to career development As the Senior Meetings and Events Manager we have listed some of your duties below however we do have a full job spec available Ensure all business critical deadlines are met for each programme Ensure that the highest standards of event planning and delivery are maintained through the effective coaching of Project Managers and Project Executives Ensure effective usage of in-house project management systems and processes Manage the application of client driven systems such as STARCITE, where applicable Manage all venues and associated logistical arrangements Manage all F&B requirements Manage all associated adhoc meeting activities, where required Oversee the completion of the invitation and attendee management process by Project Executives, including attendee communication, database management and reporting Manage and co-ordinate client requirements with all 3rd party suppliers/internal service providers (DMC, Exhibit Agencies, Med Ed, Print & Design, Production, AV, Air Travel), where required Manage production and design of all on-site meeting materials Produce, manage and circulate key communications e.g. weekly status reports to all key meeting stakeholders e.g. Client, Exhibit Agency, Med Ed etc Travel on-site to conduct site inspections and undertake planning meetings with all suppliers, when required Travel on-site to manage all meeting requirements and on-site staff Travel on-site as part of an on-site team, when required Ensure delivery of all events in accordance with regulatory and client-defined compliance guidelines Deliver first class customer service in line with clients' objectives Add value to clients' events through advising on beneficial additional services; creative ideas; business solutions and negotiation with 3rd party suppliers in order To be successful in the role of Senior Meetings and Events Manager we are looking for the following International event management experience Production Logistics Venue Sourcing Strong client management relationships Very strong budget experience (working with various currencies ideal) Once successful in the role of Senior Meetings and Events Manager you will not only work for a market leader but work in a very relaxed working environment where you will receive support and guidance along with free parking, career development, staff discount, gym membership and other wellness initiatives Office Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
