Great change is here, and we make sure you're ready. Purpose: The candidate will lead all marketing and business development initiatives for the India Group and support the Africa Group team. This includes; supporting marketing campaigns and initiatives, pitches, drafting targeted marketing collateral and briefing notes, opportunity spotting and analysis, provision of client overviews to support client meetings/trips, drafting directory, award & league table submissions etc. Key challenges and responsibilities: Marketing Services The Marketing Advisor’s key responsibilities include: serving as a key point of contact for partners in relation to marketing enquires and opportunities supporting the execution of India Group marketing plans drafting quality/client centric pitch documents working with the partnership to identify products which could be marketed/crossed sold to clients and the wider firm attending practice group and client/sector meetings and communicating updates on BD best practice to the EEIA team client 'opportunity spotting’ and campaign development around product/deals, sector or regulatory hot topics pro-active BD for new work wins: support lead partner(s) with any business development activity which may help the firm to win new work from target markets, focusing on those activities which are most likely to drive revenue growth working with partners, associates and secretaries to encourage and support the utilisation of Client Book; working closely with practice and sectors teams, CRM managers and across the BDM global team to support marketing projects and initiatives working with the Events team on the delivery of client entertainment/hospitality and significant practice events working with the partnership to support the implementation of our client feedback programme - relationship, matter and pitch feedback. drafting marketing collateral and briefing/client notes provide guidance and material to support client meetings and trips drafting/project management of the firm’s India Group-related directory, and league table submission process ensure India Group marketing collateral/credentials/CVs are maintained, accessible and aligned to strategic objectives work with PSLs and business teams to deliver to our clients timely and relevant client material. Africa The Marketing Advisor will also be required to: support the marketing activity relevant to the Africa region and where required taking a leading role on key projects. support the BD & Marketing manager (Africa) to manage the Africa Group both internally and externally. take a hands-on role in getting the basics in place for the Africa Group, such as: credentials, directory submissions, pitch materials and standard slides, factsheets, awards, intranet sites and websites, including any other marketing/BD request relating to the region. support with the development of pitches for the Africa Group, and when required, more widely across EEIA
