We’re now looking for an Operations Editor to join our team and produce content for LaptopMag, a publication showcasing the best and worst products and brands within the tech industry. Within a friendly and dynamic team of editors and writers, you will take on an interdisciplinary role, using your expertise to handle key publishing processes. The Role As an Operations Editor, you will produce and publish content for LaptopMag, ensuring target audiences are reached and new markets are opened up. Working with the editorial team, you will create multimedia content in a quick turnaround while also managing large-scale projects and contributing to editorial plans. Your role will also involve: - Co-ordinating content layout, CMS templates and web production - Navigating critical production deadlines and publishing dates - Integrating eCommerce and SEO best practice - Managing image rights and editing visual assets - Creating GIFs, data visualisations and other embedded content - Co-ordinating with photo, social, video and lab testing teams - Implementing special projects About You To join us as an Operations Editor, you will need: - Experience or expertise in at least one of the following: digital production, content management systems, photo editing, information design, editorial and/or online journalism or web design - The ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while collaborating well with others - At a minimum, a degree level qualification OR at least one year of direct editorial experience and demonstrable expertise Other organisations may call this role Editor, Multimedia Editor, Editorial Manager, Online Content Editor, Digital Editor, Journalist, Magazine Editor, Reporter, Digital Copywriter, Content Editor, or Copywriter.
