Overview

Digital Project Manager, Publishing, gantt charts, project management, project coordination Our client, an industry-leading publisher is looking for a Project Manager to join their booming Digital team. Due to their vast expansion in amount and scope of their projects, they are looking for someone with vast digital experience in shaping digital products concepts from conception to design to join their team full-time. Responsibilities: Manage agreed budgets, schedules, and development once projects are signed off by Senior members of the digital and executive management team Co-ordinate the collation, checking and amendment (where required), and distribution of assets required by external suppliers Ensure that - working in conjunction with external agencies and relevant internal staff - agreed developments are adequately briefed and scheduled to avoid increases in costs and delays in delivery Assist senior members of the digital team in the commissioning of developers, designers and suppliers Co-ordinate project teams for specific developments as required - these will encompass a range of staff from various departments Regularly communicate project status to project and digital teams Crucial work with Sales and Marketing: Work with digital marketing managers to bring new digital products to market Ensure all new product developments are customer-focused by working with sales and marketing on terminology and the customer journey Ensure all product developments are set up for tracking/analytics/prevention of piracy at build stage, discussing customer requirements with marketing at planning stage Ensure appropriate communication with marketing and sales about upcoming projects and new tools available on the market Essential skills: Exceptional organisational skills with a proven track record in digital project management Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills, ensuring that information is shared in a clear and timely fashion with internal departments and external partners (developers and stakeholder individuals / organisations) Experience of managing complex bespoke digital product and content builds including offline and online applications, multimedia, databases, APIs and mobile apps Desirable skills: Knowledge of online assessment platforms, data structures and effective representation of data in reports and easy-to-use user interfaces A thorough knowledge of the publishing process If you would be interested in this opportunity to hit the ground running with new and exciting projects across this major business, then get in touch ASAP by applying now Digital Project Manager, Publishing, gantt charts, project management, project coordination
