Overview
As a key member of the Mid-Market Sales Account Management team based in London, you will be responsible for developing consultative and strategic business relationships with your own dedicated accounts within your assigned market. Uncover and match account needs to PR Newswire products and services, thereby increasing PR Newswire value to the client while also contributing to PR Newswire revenue and market share objectives. What are we looking for? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious Account Manager with strong rapport building skills to join our dynamic and reputable PR Newswire sales team. Essential Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 years successful sales/telesales experience. Ability to identify potential key clients, build relationships and close meetings and new business opportunities. Ability to take and interpret customer's needs or instructions, propose solutions and then up- and cross-sell to develop existing accounts both in terms of revenue and products bought. Ability to present and pitch to senior decision makers. Confident and personable on the phone and face to face with excellent presentation skills. Manage difficult negotiations with clients arising from competitive situations, client misunderstandings or errors. Strong interpersonal, telephone, communication and organisational skills. Excellent customer service skills. Interest in business news, public or investor relations. The standard working hours will be 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 09.00am to 17:30 pm excluding one-hour unpaid lunch break per day.
