Overview
Fluency in English and German is preferred - applicants with this skill will be considered first Multi-sports writer required for a leading sports broadcast organisation based in London. You will be responsible for keeping an eye on developing news stories, making calls to relevant counterparts to acquire information, and ensuring you are keeping their audience engaged with high traffic hitting stories. This role ideally needs someone who’s fluent in German as this is a part of the market the organisation wants to tap into further. This is a freelance position, offering 2 or 3 8-hour shifts per week, with the potential for extra work. Rate is TBC - we have a benchmark, but open to hearing what the going rate is currently. About the role This freelance multi-sports writer will be covering sports stories (current and previous) in order to ensure a steady flow of content to their website. Given present day circumstances, especially the affect it has had on the sports industry, the person in this role must bring creative energy and ideas to optimise their content to ensure their audience is engaged. This may involve regular sessions to generate original ideas to regulate the content calendar for 2020. What skills do you need?
