Overview
A leading company that offers student accommodation throughout the UK and Europe are looking for a Head of Marketing to cover a 12month maternity contract. ( This role be suitable for someone who can demonstrable experience or knowledge of the student accommodation market ) Your role is key within the marketing team and you are responsible for developing and delivering an integrated online and offline marketing strategy that supports the portfolio in achieving maximum occupancy. You will lead the team to implement the agreed marketing strategy, ensuring that they work in collaboration with various functions of the business to execute it in time and within budget. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement a comprehensive, integrated brand and digital marketing strategy which delivers on KPIs and aligns to each stage of the sales funnel Oversee all marketing activity, planning and expenditure, to include digital, brand, offline and experiential activity for all residences Lead and guide the marketing and residence teams in organising, delivering and tracking all marketing activity Effectively communicate the marketing strategy, plans and performance to various stakeholders across the business Develop the brand's creative identity, brand values and student experience and be the brand guardian - ensuring the TOV, guidelines, and creative are followed across channels, and continue to develop these to ensure the company innovates and is at the forefront of the sector Work closely with the Head of Marketing - New Markets and Marketing Director to provide an innovative and effective online and offline presence for Nido in new and current markets to drive brand awareness, acquire leads, and maximise on rents and occupancy levels Ensure the optimum performance and delivery of key digital marketing channels and campaigns (web, SEO, PPC, Social Media, Email Marketing, Blogs, Content Marketing and inbound marketing) Develop innovative, and cost-effective cross channel marketing campaigns and promotions Oversee the final stages of the development and delivery of a new scalable, multilingual, UX optimised website Oversee the management of the Digital Marketing Agency to deliver robust PPC, SEO & Content Marketing strategies, campaigns, reports and targets Manage marketing technology platforms that support marketing automation and content management, and collaborate with Sales and Operations on the interface with Salesforce, StarRez and PowerBI to ensure sales and marketing alignment and effective reporting Set and manage the marketing budgets across the different portfolios, review and measure ROI, and optimise plans and strategies accordingly, delivering all activity within the agreed budget Work closely with key stakeholders across the business aligning marketing activity to business priorities and ensuring the brand and marketing strategy is effectively delivered Monitor performance across all media and take rapid, data driven decisions to optimise performance Manage and deliver regular, accurate Marketing reporting of marketing performance across channels and campaigns to key stakeholders to support internal and investor reporting Work with the Head of Commercial on Lead to Sales conversion KPI reporting to optimise marketing activities, pricing and sales incentives Review and monitor market research, trends, and competitor analysis to identify market requirements for current and future products Gain regular customer feedback through qualitative and quantitative methods and ensure we are using this insight to inform our campaigns, creative and promotions Focus on the customer experience, ensuring our communications, creative, experiential marketing, events, value initiatives are reflective of student requirements, innovative, and promote retention, referral and good reviews Support the B2B Manager with B2B collateral requirements, award entries, campaigns and conference organisation Provide the leadership and support to develop a high performing marketing team, monitor their performance, KPIs and motivate them to reach their targets Establish a network of contacts within the industry to ensure that we are always following best practice, are alert to the activities of competitors and are always at the forefront Work with the wider business on new innovations and industry activity EXPERIENCE: Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification Experience within a senior Marketing Management role, with evidence of implementing successful digital and brand campaigns and strategies Experience with leading and managing agencies, web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns Knowledge and understanding of relevant marketing and sales technology platforms and tools (e.g. CMS, Salesforce, Social Studio, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, etc.) Skilled at marketing reporting and dashboard development, analysis and ability to translate digital behavioural data analytics, market research, industry and competitive trends Creative Recruitment is an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, age, sexuality, gender identification, or physical ability.
